Program Overview
If you have served America in the armed forces you may be eligible to take advantage of programs that are set aside specifically for veterans and service-disabled veterans.
Program Benefits
In 1999, laws expanded to include veterans for certain small-business assistance programs. These programs include those administered by the SBA. It also directed government agencies and departments to provide these Veteran owned small businesses 3% of the total value of contract awards every year. By being certified for VOSB/SDVOSB you get an opportunity to work these contracts.
Qualifications
Qualification is simple. You have to be able to provide proof of being a Veteran/Service Disabled Veteran to qualify for these certifications.
